Questions sellers ask

Poshmark fees in Canada, answered

How much does Poshmark take from each sale in Canada?

On a C$50.00 sale, Poshmark's commission is C$10.00, which is 20%, so you keep C$40.00 before your C$15.00 item cost, and C$25.00 after it. GST/HST on the fee comes out of your earnings on top.

What is the Poshmark Canada fee on a small sale?

Sales under C$20 pay a flat C$3.95 instead of a percent. A C$10.00 sale pays C$3.95, which is 39.5% of the price. At C$20 and above the fee is 20%.

Does the Poshmark fee jump at the price threshold?

Slightly. A sale of C$19.99 pays the flat C$3.95, and a sale of C$20.00 pays 20%, which is C$4.00. Poshmark's Canada fee policy says the flat fee applies under the threshold and the percent from it upward, so we treat exactly C$20 as paying the percent.

How much is GST/HST on Poshmark fees in Canada?

GST/HST on the Poshmark fee is deducted from your earnings at a provincial rate. Poshmark does not publish a rate table, so the calculator does not add it and the amounts here are before that tax. Check the tax on your Poshmark earnings statement to see your real cost.

Is Poshmark cheaper in Canada or the US?

The percent is 20% in Canada and 20% in the US. The flat fee on small sales is C$3.95 under C$20 in Canada against $2.95 under $15 in the US. A C$19.99 Canadian sale pays 19.8% and a $14.99 US sale pays 19.7%. On a $40.00 US sale the fee is $8.00.

Who pays for shipping on Poshmark Canada, and what does payout cost?

We could not confirm the Canada buyer shipping rate or the payout fees from an official Poshmark page, so the calculator shows neither and does not guess. In the US the buyer pays shipping and it is never deducted from the seller. Check Poshmark's Canada help pages for the current rates.

Does Poshmark still operate in the UK and Australia?

No. Poshmark Australia, the UK and India closed in late 2023, so only the US and Canada are offered.

How do I price an item to hit a profit target in Canada?

Switch the calculator to "Find price", then set the profit or margin you want. It solves for the sale price that leaves exactly that after the commission, including the step where the flat fee turns into a percent at C$20.

How we checked every number

Every number on this page comes from one data file, checked against Poshmark's Canada fee policy on 19 Oct 2026. The calculator, the worked example, the tables and the FAQ all read from it, so they cannot disagree.

Fees are rounded to the cent one at a time. GST/HST is not added, and the Canada buyer shipping rate and payout fees are left out because we could not confirm them. Poshmark Australia, the UK and India closed in late 2023, so only the US and Canada are offered.

What we could not confirm or do not model

  • Canada: GST/HST on the Poshmark fee is deducted from earnings at a provincial rate. Poshmark does not publish a rate table, so the calculator does not add it.
  • Canada: the buyer shipping rate and payout fees were not confirmed from an official page, so neither is shown.
  • Boundary: the Fee Policy says sales under the threshold pay the flat fee. A sale of exactly 15 USD (20 CAD) is treated as paying the percent, because the published rule reads 'under' for the flat fee and 'at or above' for the percent.
  • One third-party calculator gives a 15 CAD threshold for Canada. The official Canada Fee Policy says 20 CAD, which is what we use.
  • Posh Show and Promoted Closet: Posh Shows have no separate fee. Promoted Closet is pay per click with no published price, so it is not modelled.
